p(x) = x(2x + 1) + 5 = 2x2 + x + 5             (Distributive Property)
 
The value of p(x) at x = (−2) is given by p(−2) .
 
Putting x = (−2) in p(x), we get
 
p(−2) = 2 (−2)2 + (−2) + 5 = 2 × 4 − 2 + 5 = 8 − 2 + 5 = 11
 
Thus, the value of p(x) at x = −2 is 11.

in this question by mistake i wrote value its not value its volume

p(−2) = 2 (−2)2 + (−2) + 5 = 2 × 4 − 2 + 5 = 8 − 2 + 5 = 11
